In 1999, Mr.Giorgio, who gave his name to the company, started a small-scale fabric manufacturing business in Italy. 

By the 2010, the company had become wholesalers to the upholstery industry, supplying furnishing fabrics for the manufacture of furniture. The company continued to evolve until eventually the supply of furnishing fabrics became the company’s primary focus. 

In 2012, Raffinato established a manufactory in China.

In 2020, Raffinato started its own interior design company, injecting a more creative approach to design which redefined Raffinato as the design-led company it is known as today.
